South East Leisure is a newly formed leisure management company based in the City of Greater Dandenong with a vision to enhance the health and wellbeing of our community by providing sustainable world class experiences.

Since the 1st of July 2022, South East Leisure will manage and operate the four major leisure facilities in the Greater Dandenong area: 

• Dandenong Oasis 
• Noble Park Aquatic Centre 
• Springers Leisure Centre 
• Dandenong Stadium The Role 

We are looking for dedicated Swim Teachers who share our enthusiasm for swimming, passion for water safety and take pride in helping our members learn to swim and survive. 

Swim Teachers are responsible for the delivery of South East Leisure’s swimming lesson programs and therefore need to be reliable, punctual and committed to their allocated classes. 

Our classes run 7 days a week and we are looking for Swim Teachers who have availability to work within any of the periods below: 

Monday to Friday Mornings between 9am to 12pm 
School hours 9am to 2:30pm 
Evenings between 4pm – 7pm 
Weekends 9am to 12:30pm 

Selection Criteria: 
To be successful in the role you will need to have: 

Essential 
• SISSS00112 Swimming and Water Safety Teacher 
• HLTAID009 Provide CPR • Working with Children Check 
• CPR 
• COVID Vaccination 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Enjoy working with children 
• A positive and friendly attitude 
• Patience 
• Passion for water Desirable 
• Teacher Extension qualifications such as Infant & Preschool, Access & Inclusion 
• Availability to work school holiday periods
