Village Roadshow to develop Asia’s second Twentieth Century Fox World theme park
Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products is considering plans to build a new Fox World theme park in South Korea.
The proposed park is a venture involving Village Roadshow and the South Korean province of South Gyeongsang and will be part of a larger development known as the Undong Entertainment Complex.
Fox World Korea will be the second Fox World park to be initiated by Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products.
Construction of the Twentieth Century Fox World theme park began in Malaysia at the end of last year.
The development at Malaysia's Resorts World Genting is being undertaken by Resorts World Genting, the world's largest integrated resorts operator, under license from Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products.
Opening in 2016, the Malaysian theme park will feature some of Fox's most recognised and powerful film brands including Ice Age, Rio, Alian and Night at the Museum.
