New LetsPlay.Live platform delivers most comprehensive and innovative esports ecosystem
May 2, 2023

Leading Oceanic esports provider LetsPlay.Live in partnership with Dynasty Gaming and Media has launched a new platform to become the region’s largest gaming destination.

The platform, which was soft launched on 15th April, was instantly Oceania’s largest gaming destination with over 400,000 registered users on day one.

With major brand and commercial partnerships currently being signed and more to quickly follow, the number of users on the platform is expected to comfortably exceed one million by the end of 2023. It is designed to be the de facto home for gamers, whether they are looking to play, watch, compete, learn, or hang out and have fun.

It provides gamers and LPL partners with the tools they need to create their own tournaments, participate in LPL organised leagues, and win prizes. Its wide-reaching features appeal to everyone; from Pro players, to aspiring esports stars, through to casual gamers, mobile gamers and those who love browser-based titles.

The site launched with a range of core features, with more modules coming online as the platform evolves to meet the needs of its users in the coming months and years. For tournaments with prizes, players will be rewarded with LPL Tokens which can be cashed out in their local currency or used to purchase items in the LPL Shop which offers an expanding array of products from our partners.

The LPL community will be able to build their own custom white-label tournaments with all the functionality they have come to expect from past LPL leagues and more. This will be rolled out to more users over time but already has a number of keen community organisations planning future tournaments to take advantage of the LetsPlay.Live platform.

One of the first tournaments to use the new platform is the VALORANT Challengers Oceania League which is currently underway and testimony of the continued partnership with Riot Games. LPL is the official regional provider of VALORANT tournaments for 2023 and 2024.

Among other exciting opportunities for players is the recently announced ‘Clash Royale World Tour’ which will have an impressive US$25,000 prize pool and is available for players in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Japan, Korea, South-East Asia and Oceania. It is LetsPlay.Live’s first global tournament and a first for mobile gaming in the region, thanks to the support of the game publisher, Supercell.

LetsPlay.Live has an outstanding six-year history of industry leadership and success, with its brand already synonymous with the nation’s gamers who have played over 100,000 matches to date. With over 15,000 matches organised each year, it is the number one esports tournament organiser across Australasia and Oceania and is an official TO partner for the biggest games publishers on the planet, including Riot, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Activision Blizzard, Supercell, Ubisoft, 2K, and more.

A multi award-winning creative gaming agency, LPL is one of the world’s largest gaming-related content creators having delivered over 10,000 hours of unique gaming content, watched by over 100 million viewers globally via both over-the-top and linear platforms. Letsplay.live is the agency of choice for Australia’s leading brands and sporting groups who want to be involved in gaming.

Duane Mutu, Chief Executive and Founder of LetsPlay.Live enthused “it is fantastic to finally be able to launch our new LetsPlay.Live platform with Dynasty. The platform offers a plethora of features for every type of gaming and esports fan across the globe. From hundreds of esports tournaments readily available to compete in across all skill levels to a full suite of live and previous gaming broadcasts, to our shop, to casual gaming and many more community-driven features to be announced in the coming months, there’s something for every gamer at letsplay.live.

“Working with Dynasty, who have a proven history of delivering excellent platforms to gamers around the world, has been an epic endeavour spanning years from first concepts to launching today. The entire LPL team are excited for our community and all gamers across the region to experience a world-class gaming platform with so many new features to come.”

Dynasty Gaming and Media has developed the most comprehensive and innovative esports and gaming ecosystem in the world. Its proprietary custom-built platforms feature a world-leading Tournament Engine for immersive game play, a community-building interactive Social Wall, an extensive Content Library and Live Broadcast functionality. It also has a platform Wallet that instantly converts fiat currency into a virtual platform currency allowing users to seamlessly participate in Prize Pools, Wagering, and Rewards, while being able to purchase the latest digital items from its Games Voucher & Top-Up Store.

Dynasty has been in operation since 2020, based in Singapore, and has existing live platforms in Southeast Asia, North America, India, and now Oceania. Among its early-stage backers were several prominent Australian investors including Mark Nelson, Tim Bishop, Philip Schofield, and Mike Alexander. Dynasty’s Chairman and one of the company’s Co-Founder’s is former Virgin Group and Wesfarmers senior executive, David Baxby.

Matt Lodge, Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Dynasty Gaming & Media added “we are thrilled to launch the new LetsPlay.Live platform here in Australia with our amazing partners at LPL.

“Duane and his team at LPL are genuine industry leaders, with their tournaments and content loved in equal measure by the world’s biggest games publishers and the gamers they bring so much joy to. We can’t wait to deliver a phenomenal and truly unique experience to gamers in Aussie gamers. The new platform is like nothing anyone would have experienced so far and will continually get better and better as new and exciting features and functionality gets added.”
