Gateway Ticketing partnership with Digonex to explore dynamic pricing solutions in attractions
Gateway Ticketing Systems - one of the world’s leading attractions industry ticketing software, admission control and revenue generation providers - has announced an alliance with Digonex that will provide customers with seamless access to Digonex’s powerful dynamic pricing technology, which automates the process of optimising and updating prices to accelerate revenue growth, shift attendance from peak to shoulder periods, and enhance community accessibility.

Gateway Ticketing Systems’ newest technological solutions, the Galaxy Connect is a cloud-based platform, was awarded an IAAPA Brass Ring Best New Product Award at the recent 2016 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo.
Galaxy Connect gives attractions the ability to integrate with any number of online travel agencies with one integration to sell live tickets. In addition to providing guests with direct-to-gate admission, Galaxy Connect also helps venues increase ticket sales while saving money on costly one-off IT integrations and eliminating the time-consuming voucher reconciliation process.
Gateway previously won an IAAPA Brass Ring Best New Product Award for its eGalaxy Reseller Web Store that automates the process of consignment ticket sales.
Dynamic pricing is a pricing strategy in which businesses set flexible prices for products or service based on current market demands.
Developed in the airline and hotel industry, dynamic pricing sees businesses change prices based on algorithms that take into account competitor pricing, supply and demand, and other external factors in the market.
Dynamic pricing is a common practice in hospitality, entertainment, retail, electricity, and public transport and is widely used in sport leagues in North America.
There are arguments that it could be more widely used in aquatics, fitness and community sport facilities.
