BIG4 reveals Giaan Rooney and Shane Jacobson as brand ambassadors

BIG4 reveals Giaan Rooney and Shane Jacobson as brand ambassadors
February 16, 2018

BIG4 Holiday Parks has revealed Olympic champion swimmer Giaan Rooney and entertainer Shane Jacobson as its new brand ambassadors.

The role will see the pair, who have been long-term users of BIG4 Holiday Parks throughout Australia, share personal stories and memories from their stays.

For Jacobson, becoming an ambassador follows a long association with BIG4 Holiday Parks as a child, and now as a father of four who is passing on the experiences to his young family.

He explained “I’m thrilled to be a BIG4 ambassador.

“There’s so many reasons why this excites me. Number one is that I have spent my life holidaying in caravan parks all over Australia. And being a parent, what I love is that there are BIG4s all over Australia in so many incredible locations.”

BIG4 General Manager of Marketing and Sales Campbell Davies said the popular pair would add great value to the BIG4 brand, advising “not only are Giaan and Shane successful in their chosen fields, they are perfect ambassadors for BIG4 and what we value.

“Making connections while on holidays is such a big part of a stay at a BIG4 park and these two connect personally with our parks.”

“Their belief in our product comes from such an authentic place in their heart we just had to join forces with them.”

Rooney is set to launch a ‘healthy holidays’ campaign by revealing her favourite camp kitchen recipes and tips.

BIG4 Chief Executive Steven Wright expects the pair would become important members of the holiday park family, adding “they are wonderful people, they stay in our parks and they have a personal connection to what we do

“We look forward to a long and successful relationship with these much-loved Australians.”
