Asian Attractions Expo to present latest industry innovations and trends in Hong Kong
June 1, 2018

Set to be staged from 5th to 8th June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 2018 Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) will see over 300 companies showcase their latest innovations and services at the biggest event for the attractions industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

AAE 2018 will see top international manufacturer and supplier companies unveil cutting-edge products, services and technology on the trade show floor, offering new opportunities for parks, attractions, and facilities.

With the Asian attractions industry eager to embrace new technology for its guests, over 6,000 industry professionals from more than 50 countries are expected to attend.

According to event organiser the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), products and services on display are set to include state-of-the-art rides, motion simulators, virtual reality, water attractions, video and skill games, theming, technology, food-and-beverage innovations, and more.

In a statement introducing the Expo, IAAPA advise “a this year’s event, 6,000 attractions industry buyers from around the world will be on the look-out for new ways to offer the ‘wow’ factor.

“These include owners and top-level decision-makers from theme and amusement parks, attractions, water parks, family entertainment centres, zoos, aquariums, science centres, museums, real estate development companies, and more.

“Attendees will be aiming to leave with heads full of new ideas for entertaining their guests and growing their individual businesses. And, thanks to a full programme of educational sessions, they will take away new learnings, too.”

AAE also offers a range of networking opportunities, with the IAAPA statement adding “these are the moments when new connections are established and experiences are shared to help drive businesses forward into the future.”

AALARA Members event at AAE
For members of the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) attending AAE, LaserForce will be hosting a drinks event at AK's Bar at the Novotel Century, 238 Jaffe Road, Wan Chai (a short walk from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre) at 7.30pm on Thursday 7th June.
