World Stadium Congress to draw venue industry to Qatar

World Stadium Congress to draw venue industry to Qatar
December 23, 2015

Following the success of its five previous editions, the World Stadium Congress will return in 2016, bringing together leading industry professionals to discuss the latest in stadium construction, technology and venue management.

Being held in the Qatari capital of Doha from 16th to 19th May next year, the Congress is the Arabian Gulf’s top forum for discussions on stadium design, sustainable practices and construction challenges and will again feature the architects, solutions providers and stadium operations consultants behind some of the world’s most inspired sporting venues.

With Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council region hosting a growing number of major sporting events, and developing high quality sporting infrastructure, these venues face challenges including ongoing financial sustainability, delivering a 'connected stadium', dealing with security and emergency events and technology integration.

Highlighting how stadium stakeholders need to address these issues, the World Stadium Congress will cover topics such as driving fan engagement, how to qualify for international tournaments and keep your fan base, architectural innovation and how fan experiences will drive continued revenue.

World Stadium Congress 2016 will discuss these developments by gathering the world’s most prominent stadium owners, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, as well as the globe’s most renowned players, coaches, and federation and tournament directors.
