Leading waterpark supplier WhiteWater West are undertaking attractions installations at waterparks across Asia through the current northern hemisphere summer.

Undertaking over 30 installations being completed by the Canadian company are:

Tianmu Lake Water World, Jiangsu Province, China

Located west of Shanghai, Tianmu Lake Water World is situated on the only lake in East China and is owned by the Jiangsu Tianmu Lake Tourism Company. 

Designed and supplied by WhiteWater, Tianmu Lake Water World is China’s top ecological waterpark and features a wide variety of exciting and unique experiences slithering off each slide tower.

Opened in May, the 47,700 metre2 waterpark has been integrated into the natural landscape of the area and was designed to reflect serenity and peace, inspired by the surrounding Tianmu Lake. 

Tianmu Lake Water World is the first waterpark of its kind that allows guests to be submerged into nature and explore the surrounding forest while enjoying the rides within the waterpark.

Tokyo Summerland, Tokyo, Japan

Japan’s first Abyss opened in the massive theme park, Tokyo Summerland. Located in their outdoor Adventure Lagoon waterpark, this impressive waterslide has been aptly named the DEKASLA! meaning ‘big slide’. 

At 24 metres high, Tokyo Summerland has illustrated their new funnel waterslide towering overs the monumental Great Buddha of Kamakura and standing taller than a five story building.

With a 131 metre ride length, the Abyss is not only a visually impactful waterslide, but a fun and adrenaline pumping experience!

Tokyo Summerland theme park covers a huge area in the Akigawa Hills in Tokyo and features an amusement park called Thrill Mountain, an indoor Adventure Dome waterpark and the outdoor Adventure Lagoon waterpark.

Nantong Adventure Kingdom Water World, Nantong, China
North of Shanghai, the most populated city in the world, is an indoor waterpark filled with WhiteWater originals. Nantong Adventure Kingdom Water World in Jiangsu Province, China offers nine waterslide experiences including the world’s only looping waterslide, the AquaLoop™, a children’s area, a highly themed AquaPlay™ structure, a family wave pool and a Double FlowRider®. WhiteWater provided concept and schematic design for Nantong Water World with the waterslides and AquaPlay™ designed with bright colours aimed to create an enchanting adventure.

The 40,000 metre2 indoor waterpark maintains a constant temperature to imitate a summer’s day, all year round. Opened on June 30th, this highly anticipated waterpark welcomed hundreds of visitors, both residents and tourists, ready to take the plunge and make a splash.

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Hengqin Island, China
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom located on Hengqin Island, China will be the second waterpark built by the Chimelong Group and features the largest aquarium in the world. 

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is part of the largest ecologically-themed hotel, Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel. The 353-acre park aims to represent different parts of the ocean through their seven unique aquatic-themed areas. Not only does the park have an impressive 190-foot-tall whale shark statue as its centerpiece, but was awarded five Guinness World Records for the overall aquarium size, various tank sizes and their enormous viewing windows.

WhiteWater supplied Chimelong Ocean Kingdom with products that can found with both people and animals enjoying the cool water. A custom designed wave pool was created specifically for a marine animal exhibit and two other wave pools are in place for the entertainment of the visitors. With a variety of waterslides, an interactive AquaPlay™ structure and two dry attractions, WhiteWater has been selected as the Chimelong Group’s preferred supplier for all their waterpark needs.

WhiteWater is the world’s largest designer and manufacturer of a diverse range of ORIGINAL products for the waterpark and attractions industry. The company specialises in high quality waterslides, multi-level water play structures, wave-generating equipment, and FlowRider® stationary surfing machines. 

The company has backed its growth in Asia and the Chinese market in particular with establishement of a larger office in Shanghai - that is able to accommodate more clients, partners and employees. 

Along with space for the addition of more WhiteWater employees to the office, it also offers improved client accessibility as well as more meeting spaces for the growing number of client meetings and workshops.
