Having restructured its Asian and European offices, leading aquatic and waterpark supplier Whitewater West Industries now has enhanced local support in these regions.

As part of the restructure, Sean Hinton will assume responsibility of WhiteWater’s Asia Pacific Region, based in the company’s Shanghai office. This transition will leverage Hilton’s wealth of international industry experience and drive the development of a long-term strategic approach to China and the developing Pacific Rim Region.

Replacing Sean in Europe is Grant Poje who has been the Executive Vice President Business Development for Asia based out of Richmond, Canada for the last two years. Grant will maintain his title for the EMEAR region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia) based in WhiteWater’s Barcelona office. In the coming months, Operations Management and Project Management will be added to WhiteWater’s European office, further maximising the company’s dedication to the market.

Explaining the changes, WhiteWater Vice President of Sales and Marketing Andrew Wray states “this transition will increase our concentration within these markets and strengthen our international customer focused initiatives.

“We’re excited to see these changes unfold in the coming months.”

Whitewater has also recently delivered new waterslides for the expansion of Indonesia’s Waterbom Bali waterpark.

With technology that “crosses the boundaries of innovation”, the latest expansion project at the 38,000 metre2 waterpark featured the addition of the world’s first combination of Whitewater’s ‘Constrictor’ and ‘Python’ waterslides and the company’s longest ever ‘Family Raft Ride’.

Two other slides were also added to Waterbom Bali, which now has a total of 20 waterslides, of which 80% have been supplied by Whitewater.

Waterbom Bali President and Director Santo Gulino said the slides were not only innovative but had “exceeded expectations”.

He added “when expectations are exceeded it puts a smile on my face and more importantly the face of the customers, which is the primary motive of the business.”
