Wattbike, the creator of performance-focused indoor bikes used globally by elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts, has launched the Wattbike Air-Pro, marking a pivotal step in the evolution of commercial indoor training bikes.

Building on the success of the Wattbike Pro/Trainer, the Air-Pro retains the unique and market leading features of its predecessor while elevating the experience for users and coaches with updated magnetic resistance, enhanced internal electronics and all-new touchscreen interface.

This release marks another significant step for Wattbike following the successful launch of home fitness bikes, the Proton and Air, alongside major improvements to the Wattbike Hub App in 2024. These developments have helped shape an excellent start to the new financial year for Wattbike reporting over 35% year on year growth in sales and interest in the brand rising in the UK with an increase in web traffic of 46% in the first quarter from October to December.

INTRODUCING THE NEW PERFORMANCE TOUCHSCREEN   
A standout feature of the Air-Pro is the new Performance Touchscreen. This 7inch full backlit, colour tablet is a user-friendly and engaging interface that integrates effortlessly with the Wattbike Hub app, unlocking scores of workouts and training plans to support all fitness goals. The Performance Touchscreen will also connect to third-party apps via ANT+ and Bluetooth.   

The Performance Touchscreen requires no external power source, it draws energy directly from the bike itself allowing the bike to be positioned anywhere, be that on the gym floor, in a circuit class or even on the side of a sports field. Through the Performance Touchscreen, users can ride in-built workouts, perform fitness assessments and connect to the free Wattbike Hub app, offering hundreds of expertly crafted additional workouts and training plans. Developed in collaboration with renowned coaches, world champions and top-tier gyms, the Hub provides workouts for every goal, all automatically customised to the correct level for the individual rider.

The quick-start interface allows users to seamlessly dive into their session from the first pedal stroke, ensuring smoother transitions, less downtime and the ability for users to quickly transition in circuits or competitions.
