With this year’s election having called for nominations to fill three vacant Active Board positions, the Association has welcomed back a pair of returning Directors:
Brett Caldwell AVM
Head, IT Infrastructure at Arts Centre Melbourne
Heather Clarke AVM
Precinct Manager, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct
In addition, the VMA welcomes its newest Board Member who will commence her three-year term on 12th May.
Megan O’Reilly
Chief Operating Officer, Melbourne Park
Comment on the election, VMA President, Phil King AVM stated “once again, this year’s election attracted an exceptional level of interest, and I’d like to thank our members for their strong engagement throughout the nomination and voting process.
“On behalf of the Membership, I extend a warm welcome to our newly elected Director Megan, I also congratulate both Heather and Brett on their return as Directors, and lastly I would like to express our sincere gratitude to our retiring Director Paul Sergeant for his valuable contribution in his time on the board.
“The depth of experience and passion within our industry is truly remarkable, and it’s encouraging to see such talented venue professionals stepping forward to help guide the Association as we move into the next phase of growth.”
The Board also thanked retiring Director, Paul Sergeant, for his outstanding contribution, his level of commitment and his enthusiasm over the past six years as a Board member.
