Vertikal implements greenery into range of venues
Based in Sydney, the team at Vertikal continue to supply, install and maintain impressive vertical garden projects in venues across Australia. Vertikal bring a deep understanding of vertical garden design, sustainability, engineering, management and plant life to each project.
Vertikal recently created a lush green wall which now acts as a permanent backdrop to the main stage of the Beach Hotel in Byron Bay, along with various custom planters throughout the venue including:
- Hanging GRC bowls
- Trough planters with trailing foliage
- External Planters with trailing foliage
Vertikal’s expertise and vision infused new life to this open plan venue which reflects the environmentally conscious community of Byron Bay.
With over 13 years of experience, Vertikal’s horticulture team have a unique understanding of exactly which plants will survive and thrive in any given environment.
Vertikal also worked alongside Landscape Architects Profile Landscapes and builders Ganellen on the redevelopment of Harbord Diggers on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The project includes an indoor wall which is reflected in the water feature below and creates a stunning visual as patrons enter the Club. The large outdoor vertical garden with built-in planters capture the light between the buildings and breathe life into the concrete surrounds. Both indoor and outdoor gardens are thriving.
