read moreMarking its fifth anniversary, Universal Studios Singapore (USS) has revealed event and ride enhancements
The recent anniversary was marked by cars from the Fast & Furious movie franchise being rolled out at the theme park on Singapore’s Sentosa Island, and an announcement from Resorts World Sentosa that this year's Halloween Horror Nights event will be bigger than previous years.
In addition, Resorts World Sentosa announced that two rides will be up and running in the second quarter of this year.
The first of these rides will be the all-new Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey, developed together by Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), DreamWorks Animation, and Universal Parks and Resorts.
Anouncing details of the new attraction, RWS Senior Vice President of Attractions John Hallenbeck stated “the ride vehicle’s a nine-passenger vehicle which we think is very special because it allows the entire family to be able to ride together.
“When we get that open in the near future, I think it’s going to be a great addition for us to have another attraction that can be experienced by everyone.”
After being shut for nearly two years, RWS confirmed that the former roller coaster ride Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon will be reopened.
When re-opened, the world's tallest dueling roller coaster will have a two-seat design instead of the previous four-seat ride vehicle.
