read moreTourism WA have extended the deadline for applications for the Tourism Business Survival Grant to 4pm Monday 13th July 2020.
Tourism WA Managing Director Brodie Carr advises “this decision was made based on feedback we’ve received from people letting us know they need more time to submit suitably researched and factual applications to make their best case for grant support.
“For people who have already submitted an application, the extension means they can re-open, review, amend and re-submit their application if they would like to.
“This is an exceptionally challenging time for our industry. We want operators to feel supported and for eligible tourism businesses to use this grant money to help them recover.”
Carr added “this grant process is competitive and we won’t be able to help everyone. But a strong submission means eligible applicants have the best possible chance to receive a share of the $4 million funding pool.”
Tourism WA note the following channels available for help and advice with the application process:
• Contact the Recovery Team at Tourism WA by email
• Contact Tourism Council WA .TCWA have a series of webinars to support Tourism Business Survival Grant applicants in areas such as how to write a competitive applications, developing a recovery plan and marketing.
