Tasmanian Minister for the Arts and Heritage, Madeleine Ogilvie, said the program featured an exciting mix of performances, installations, exhibitions, concerts, activities and events in venues throughout the state.
Minister Ogilvie noted “the Tasmanian Government continues to support Ten Days on the Island as part of the 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future.
“Many local artists and art organisations will have works on show throughout this year’s festival, emphasising the depth and breadth of the creativity, innovation and artistry that takes place in Tasmania.
“Alongside its focus on uniquely Tasmanian perspectives and stories, the 2025 festival program also includes works, forums and events that explore several important and timely national and global issues.
“I have no doubt that the 2025 festival program will engage and inspire Tasmanian audiences of all ages – with participation made possible for all through the inclusion of several free events.”
