Precor Australia expands service and operations team coverage
Precor Australia, has welcomed two new recruits to its Australian team, highlighting its commitment and national coverage to local customers.
The announcement of new Field Service Technicians in Sydney and Melbourne comes in the wake of an expansion of Precor’s sales team and the appointment of a new Business Manager.
Elio Ratna recently commenced in the role of Field Service Technician for Victoria, with Cloud Zhou commencing in the same role for the New South Wales market in November.
Precor Australia Business Manager Peter Dugmore is pleased to welcome the two new recruits to the Precor Australia team, stating “the continued expansion of our Australian team highlights how serious we are delivering world class innovative products but also the highest standard of customer service possible in order to assist our customers grow their businesses.
“Precor consistently strives to exceed customer expectations in Design Experience, Member Experience and Service Experience.
“Our new Field Service Technicians and expanding sales team will greatly assist us to continue to provide an industry leading level of service and after sales support to our existing customers as well as new ones including Anytime Fitness, World Gym, Fitness First, Fernwood Fitness, YMCA and independent business operators.
“This comes on the back of large business wins this year in the hospitality, local authority and education segments.”
The new Field Service Technicians roles have all been accredited with Precor Certified Service Training, industry leading experienced customer care, technical support, maintenance, service repairs and comprehensive Precor spare parts coverage. The accreditation enables the Precor technicians to repair Precor equipment on first visit to our Australian customers in combination with extensive Precor spare parts which are stored locally in Australia for an immediate quick fix turnaround time.
Elio Ratna joined Precor in September having worked as an IT Technician for over 19 years in Australia and abroad.
More recently Ratna set up his own fitness service business based in Melbourne which he owned and managed for the past four years.
Ratna is well placed to deliver the Precor experience to the Victorian health and fitness operators.
Cloud Zhou has over 10 years experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Service Engineer, Supervisor and more recently as Precor APAC Technical Service Manager. With a focus on managing and promoting exceptional customer service by establishing and maintaining a relationship with Precor service team of dealers, independent service providers and territory manager in the Asia Pacific region, Zhou is expected to be a perfect fit for the Precor team servicing the NSW market.
Sandi Reay, multiple franchisee and 2013 Anytime Fitness Franchisee of the Year, is testament to Precor Australia’s continued focus on service.
Reay explains “we’re really pleased with the Precor equipment and the Precor operations team have been great with after sales service support.
“Any problems have been fixed efficiently which is really important to our business.”
Precor has also introduced new certified service technician vans in both NSW and Victoria.
