Our ongoing commitment to keeping industry professionals informed
As the world is facing a time of uncertainty during the unprecedented impact of the Coronavirus crisis, we wanted to assure our readers, subscribers and advertisers that Australasian Leisure Management will continue to report on the leisure industry and all of its sectors - aquatics, attractions, entertainment, events, fitness, parks, recreation, sport, tourism and venues - through our print publication, this website and social platforms.
At a time like this we are acutely aware of our unique and important role in producing a reliable, trusted and essential publication - and our responsibility to bring you the information you need to know.
While much of the news we are currently reporting is on the effects of the Coronavirus, we are committed to keeping the industry informed during these difficult and uncertain times – and moving forward will look to highlight positives that are emerging from impacts of Coronavirus, helping you navigate your way forward to the industry that will emerge beyond this current crisis.
While this website is free to access, and receipt of our enews is free of charge - and many of you will receive the printed Australasian Leisure Management magazine through membership of an industry association or your employer - we do face a financial challenge in delivering our resources to you.
At this confronting time for us all, small media companies are facing some unique issues, with the Coronavirus crisis having seem a number of newspapers and titles cease publication over recent weeks.
To help Australasian Leisure Management magazine continue its in print and online coverage, we have started a GoFundMe to see if we can secure crowdfunding to back what we do.
If you feel you can support us, click here to visit the Australasian Leisure Management crowdfunding page.
We thank you for being a valued reader, and to those who can support us, we will forever be grateful.
We need you as much as we hope you need our trusted news.
In print we are sticking to our publishing schedule in 2020, with same great advertising packages for those looking to promote products and services to the industry.
With events cancelled or postponed, travel and public meetings strictly limited, we can support companies affected by providing a platform – through the printed magazine, this website and social platforms - to get your messages or new product announcements out to the world.
