read moreAdministered by the NT Department of People, Sport and Culture, Round 2 of the Arts Projects 2024-25 grants aims to support the creative ventures of emerging and established artists from across the Northern Territory.
The grants provide vital support for artists, arts workers, and arts organisations to develop, showcase and present their work.
The Arts Grants Program supports Territory artists in building their careers, expanding professional networks, growing audiences, and enriching communities through vibrant artistic projects.
Department of People, Sport and Culture Chief Executive, Samantha Livesley noted
“supporting the arts is key to enriching life in the Territory, enabling community cohesion, creating job opportunities, and preserving cultural expression across the NT.
“The Arts Grants Program enhances the visibility and accessibility of the arts, encourages community engagement and participation, and supports career pathways in the creative industries.”
Round 1 of the Arts Projects Grants saw $200,000 awarded to eight successful applicants – funding projects across literature, visual arts, crafts, design, dance, music and cross-artforms. Recipients included:

Applications close at midnight on Wednesday 5th March 2025. Applications will be assessed by a panel of arts peers with specialised expertise from the Arts NT Register of Peers.
