read moreNext Generation have installed Tiger Turf's Commerical Grand Prix synthetic tennis surface to upgrade four courts at its Adelaide Health and Racquet Club.
The site, in North Adelaide's Memorial Drive, is also the headquarters of South Australian Tennis.
According to Tennis Director and Head Coach, Peter Smith, the new courts, which compliment the other 26 courts at the complex, "are playing really well and the even ball bounce is great for junior and social tennis. Another important factor of the aesthetically pleasing courts is they are a lot cooler to play on than the hard courts which has been a real bonus during the recent hot weather."
Tiger Turf's Commerical Grand Prix surface provides tennis players with a high ball bounce, quicker ball speed and greater grip underfoot. The surface is a dense polypropylene, 12mm pile height partially filled with sand, and certified to International Tennis Federation classification.
Tiger Turf supply a range of synthetic grass and clay surfaces designed for differing performance requirements.
