With the Curves female fitness franchise having faced a number of challenges in recent years, Michelle Wright, founder of the Women's Health and Fitness Summit, has been engaged as Business Development Manager for the group in Australia and New Zealand.

Wright, who created the Mishfit brand, was engaged in January to support the 140+ Curves clubs across New Zealand and Australia.

Explaining her appointment on LinkedIn, Wright wrote “for those who know me ... I live and breathe women’s health.

“I am determined to make a difference to women who are forgotten in fitness. Who want to work out, but have been hurt by exercise ... or simply do not have options to suit their needs.

“Working with Curves, I know I can bring this message to a much greater platform.”
