read moreAquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) has announced a partnership with Life Saving Victoria (LSV) in presenting the 2024 Victorian Aquatics and Recreation Industry Conference.
The strategic partnership will see the LSV Aquatic Industry Summit integrated as a dedicated stream within the ARV Conference, being held at held at Hyatt Place, Essendon from 18th to 20th September.
In a communication, ARV advise “this collaboration aims to enhance the learning experience of participants, bringing together the best of our industry under one roof.”
The 2024 ARV Conference will extend over two days, providing an invaluable platform for professionals in the aquatic and recreation sectors to network, share knowledge, and explore innovative solutions in the industry.
Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum 2025
ARV has also advised that Diversity and Inclusion in Leisure Forum is set to return in 2025 - being held on Thursday 13th February at Zinc in Melbourne's Federation Square.
The Forum is aimed at the ability to create an opportunity for the aquatics, fitness, recreation and sport sectors to strengthen its ability to welcome, support and include everyone into everything it can offer.
Currently, ARV is seeking expressions of interest for presenters on initiatives that are in operation for which evidence has been gathered to substantiate the impact and sustainability of the initiative. Presentations are to follow a TEDx Talk style, described here (with the presentation length likely to be 15 minutes, including a response to one audience question).
