Lagardère Sports unveils new global media team

As part of Lagardère Sports’ strategy to integrate its businesses globally, and following a successful rebrand that took place earlier this month, the company has announced a unified Global Media division and a number of key leadership appointments.

The new Global Media Team sees senior staff members join forces to further strengthen Lagardère Sports’ media sales and acquisitions activities, and to capitalise on growing opportunities.

Led by David White, President Media at Lagardère Sports, the Media Division will continue to partner with high profile rights holders to develop and grow the commercial value of their global properties.

Stefan Felsing, formerly Co-Managing Director of UFA Sports, has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Media - Global Sales & Acquisitions.

Felsing’s responsibilities will include overseeing the sales and acquisitions of media rights inclusive of all businesses across Europe, Asia Pacific, The Middle East, Africa and The Americas.

In a further announcement, Nikolaus von Doetinchem has been appointed as Vice President, Media - Europe.

von Doetinchem  also joins Lagardère Sports from UFA Sports and has been in the media rights business for 15 years. Additionally, Marco Gonzalez has been appointed to the role of Vice President, Media - Key Accounts & Partnerships, Braden Clarke as Vice President, Media - Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa and Adam Holzer as Vice President, Media - Americas.
