May 2, 2024

Johnson Health Tech Australia has announced the appointment of three additional senior managers to their Australia and New Zealand leadership team, to support its continued growth in the Australasian and New Zealand markets.

Among the appointments, Uros Brkic joins the team as General Manager of Sales and Service.

With 20 years of experience in the fitness and customer service industry, most recently as National Sales Manager of Genesis Fitness for the past six years, Brkic has also been a franchise gym owner and has worked with FLG, Fenix Fitness and Telecom New Zealand.

His wealth of experience and understanding of the health and fitness industry will support the training, development, and management of the sales, customer service, and field technician teams across Australia and New Zealand.

Sam Forbes returns to JHTA as the Head of Supply Chain, having previously worked with the business eight years ago.

Bringing over a decade of logistics and supply chain expertise, honed at renowned companies like Brenntag and Autopacific Group where he oversaw 47 staff across three facilities in recent years. With his wealth of knowledge, Forbes is expected to elevate the supply chain to new heights and support and lead the procurement, installations, warehouse and spare parts divisions.

JHTA has also welcomed fitness industry leader Jamie Logue steps into the Tender and Hospitality Manager role for Matrix Fitness Australia.

With an impressive 20-year journey in the health and fitness industry, Logues has also been a franchise health club owner and held significant industry roles with Belgravia Health and Leisure group including National Fitness Manager and National Training Manager.

Logue will also be supporting health club owners through Victoria and NSW as part of his role.

Announcing the appointments, Gerard Healy, Managing Director of Johnson Health Tech Australia, stated "this is a significant step in the elevation of our delivery of support to our network of partners across the fitness and retail industry in Australia and New Zealand.

“We bring three senior leaders into our business with national management experience to support the training and development of our people, and further improve our overall customer experience.

“We are determined to bring quality people with backgrounds that connect to our customers' needs and requirements.”

The trio will all be based in Melbourne.
