Industry experts to address Ticketing Professionals Conference
January 30, 2013

The program for the upcoming NARPACA Ticketing Professionals Conference has been augmented by the addition of ticketing sector leaders to its speaker roster.

Greg O'Connor, Director of Ticketing for iLUKA will join the conference on Wednesday 20th February, straight from the airport, to present the session 'The Olympics: It's more than sport'.

Based in Barcelona, Greg, whose career began in Australia, has a wealth of experience in ticketing arts, entertainment and sporting events .

Meanwhile, Ticketmaster Australasia Managing Director Maria O'Connor will join the discussion panel 'The Secondary Market - Scalpers, Touts and Robin Hood'.

An impressive panel of industry experts will be part of this discussion panel, with Conference Chair Tim Roberts expecting a "robust debate" on the secondary ticketing topic.

Other panel speakers include:

• Dusty Brighton, Director of Government Relations, eBay Inc.
• Craig McMaster, Chief Executive, Showbiz Group
• Christopher Plowman, Chief Executive, Lasttix
• Zoya Sheftalovich, Investigative Journalist, CHOICE

The inclusion of Greg O'Connor has meant parts of the program have been reshuffled, with the revised schedule available by clicking on the link below.

Being held at the Sydney Menzies Hotel from 18th to 20th February 2013, the 9th Northern Australian Regional Performing Arts Centres Association (NARPACA) conference, training day and tradeshow is expected to attract around 200 box office, marketing and venue management delegates from around Australia and New Zealand.

Run over three days, NARPACA is the professional development and networking event for anyone who sells tickets.
