read moreDavid Lewis, former Chief Executive of Les Mills Asia Pacific, has teamed up with ‘healthy clubbing’ fitness phenomenon Clubbercise in a consultancy role to help grow the brand across Australia and Asia. Combining fitness and clubbing in one high energy workout, Lewis’ role will see him manage the expansion of the relatively new industry player in Australia and Asia through growing B2B relationships, instructor numbers and class participants.
Lewis has extensive industry experience, having previously been the State General Manager of Zest Health Clubs, leading over 700 personnel and, for the past eight years, having been responsible for leadership, strategy and all business operations at Les Mills Asia Pacific.
He also led Les Mills’ business development, promoting the brand in the Asia Pacific region, successfully increasing customers, products, revenue and profit as well as developing the teams.
Looking forward to his new role, Lewis (pictured above) explains “I’m excited to join the incredible Clubbercise team.
“They’ve had such huge success in the UK in a short space of time and I know it is only going from strength to strength over here in Australia and beyond.
“As the demand for more classes and instructors continues to increase, it will be thrilling to expand the brand to more locations and introduce more people to this fitness phenomenon.”
Commenting on the appointment, Clubbercise founder and Brand Director Claire Burlison added “we are proud to welcome David to the Clubbercise family.
“He has many years of knowledge and expertise in the fitness industry and we know that he will be a great fit. We look forward to working with him to meet the huge demand for more Clubbercise classes across Australia and Asia.”
