South East Leisure is partnering with Aquatics and Recreation Victoria to deliver the South East Leisure Active Health Day at Dandenong Oasis on 27th July with some of the free offerings including fitness testing, group exercise classes and complimentary swims.

ARV view the Active Health Day initiative as a high priority for the aquatic and recreation industry to increase participation, physical activity, social inclusion, health and wellness outcomes within Aquatic and Recreation staff and communities.

The event is complimentary for all attendees and a great opportunity for member and community engagement – that has been missed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the past two years.

 Attendees will also have access to allied health and service initiatives such as:
– Cancer Council – skin checks
– Covid Vaccines and Boosters
– Influenzas Shots
– Maternal Health Services
– Blood Bank
– Oral Care
– Nutrition Australia
– Psychologist
– Physiotherapist
– Allied Health Providers
– Fitness and Body Metric Tests
– Group Exercise Classes
– Complimentary Swims
– Salvation Army

Complimentary healthy eating snack/lunch options will also be provided.

South East Leisure is a newly formed subsidiary company of the City of Greater Dandenong (est. 1st July 2021) with a charter to operate the City’s four aquatic and leisure facilities from July 2022.

South East Leisure Active Health Day will be held Wednesday 27th July from 10am to 1pm at Dandenong Oasis.
