Fitness First introduces athlete innovations at new Dubai club
Fitness First Middle East’s newly opened athletics-inspired club in the Dubai district of Mudon has introduced a range of innovations.
The mixed club is designed to complement other Fitness First clubs in Dubai with a new style of training experience, with a focus on allowing customers to train like athletes, through a variety of diverse training programs.
Training facilities include a fully-equipped cardio theatre, an outdoor functional training zone and a swimming pool while the Mudon club is the first in the region to have a Kube Wall, which features rip ropes and straps class, which is an intensive 30-minute workout that focuses on total body conditioning and interval training.
The club offers group exercise classes, including Charge, which optimises metabolic rate and boosts post-workout calorie burning. There is a mind and body studio that offers power yoga, flow yoga and other sessions.
Fitness First Mudon also caters for youngsters, with a Sportzone for basketball, cricket and football, among other sports.
Introducing the new club, Fitness First Middle East Chief Operating Officer George Flooks explains “we are delighted to be presenting this innovative, athletics inspired club to the region, which provides an unprecedented new meaning to the word gym.
“Mudon is like no other club, bringing new innovations to Dubai and offering unique training facilities for all abilities from triathletes looking to train in the pool on their way to the cycling track at Al Qudra, or those looking to use the Watt Bikes to hone in on their cycling skills. Reformer Pilates, the celebrity workout favourite of stars like Izabel Goulart and Miranda Kerr, is accessible to those who favour a workout enhancing strength, balance and coordination.
“The state of the art new facility will cater to every need of the modern, active, health-conscious gym-goer while also providing the exciting amenities for first-time members. The high-performance club includes brand new signature classes and top of the range fitness equipment and specialist programs for all fitness levels and abilities. Fitness First Mudon provides the ultimate health-club experience for athletes and avid gym members alike, with group exercise classes and a fully equipped cardio theatre and loaded weights, all designed to offer a dynamic fitness environment that keeps members motivated.”
The club also offers Wattbikes, an advanced and innovative Outdoor Functional Training zone with the unplugged training concept Parkour and Beaverfit Performance Rig, SKILLMILLS for indoor running, TRX, Rip Trainers and Assault Bikes.
Fitness First Middle East has 67 clubs across 51 locations in the Middle East.
