Eventing the Future confirms speakers, announces scholarship packages
The organisers of the 2016 Eventing the Future conference have confirmed further keynote speakers for the event, being held in Auckland on 3rd and 4th August, as well as announcing a scholarship to aid an up and coming event professional to attend, observe, learn and develop skills.
David Nottage, Director of Torque Ltd, is to present what promises to be an inspiring and practical workshop on communication skills and tools, offering delegates the opportunity to learn stage and speech craft, refine communication skills and deliver messages with confidence and competence.
Nottage, is acknowledged as a communication skills leader who has worked with the management of our successful sports teams top corporates.
Torque Ltd is a New Zealand based company that provides training in effective and powerful business presentations.
Described as a TEDx ‘talker’ and speaker, coach, management consultant, entrepreneur and customer service evangelist, Neelay Bhatt (pictured below) will provide two presentations at the conference.
Bhatt’s presentations will include the opening keynote, Creating a Magical Event Experience where he will share new tools and innovations that can be applied and share learnings from decades of involvement in the sports, events, parks and recreation sectors. He will also run a workshop in the Business and Leadership stream covering the Three ‘I’s’ of Business.
As Vice President of PROS Consulting Inc, Bhatt is responsible for national and international master planning and facility development/operations projects. Areas of expertise include strategic and business planning, marketing and branding, customer service training and advising clients for revenue generation. Clients include national and international government agencies, sport governing bodies, sports facilities, parks and recreation departments and private providers. His scope also extends to the festival and arts sector.
His attendance at Eventing the Future is supported by New Zealand Major Events.
NZ Major Events Schlolarship Package
Eventing the Future is also presenting a valuable development opportunity for one deserving event professional.
The 2016 New Zealand Major Events Scholarship will highlight the achievements of an up and coming event professional rewarding them with a scholarship to attend, observe, learn and develop skills at the 2016 Eventing the Future conference, as well as attend the New Zealand Event Awards Dinner.
The Scholarship consists of a free registration to the conference, (excluding travel or accommodation costs) and a ticket to the Awards Dinner on the evening of 4th August.
The value of the scholarship is just under $1000.
The scholarship will be awarded to the successful recipient prior to the Conference and recognised at the event, as well as being profiled in the July issue of the NZAEP Events Update. The recipient will attend the New Zealand Event Awards Dinner as a VIP guest of the NZAEP Board.
