Entries open for 2015 New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards
The Exercise Association of New Zealand (ExerciseNZ) has launched its 2015 New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards, with entries now open.
Formerly known as the New Zealand Fitness Industry Awards, the annual Awards are designed to recognise those making a contribution to the health and wellness of New Zealanders through exercise and fitness.
Introducing the Awards for 2015, Richard Beddie, Chief Executive of awards organiser ExerciseNZ, explains "the Exercise Industry Awards have been running since 2005, and are designed to recognise those making a contribution to the health and wellness of New Zealanders through exercise and fitness.
"If you know someone, or a facility who you think deserves special recognition, you can nominate them for an award - although its best to tell them you are nominating them first!"
The Awards will be presented at a ceremony on Saturday 21st November 2015 during the FitEx Conference in Auckland.
The ceremony is a prestigious ‘black tie’ event, having previously been addressed by high profile guest speakers including New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, Ministers Rodney Hide and Murray McCully, Auckland Mayor Len Brown and Sue Kedgeley.
