“The exhibition and event industry has demonstrated its tremendous resilience, innovation and capacity to pursue new market opportunities.

“This conference will be an important gathering of the decision makers in our community – it is important that our industry responds to the trends and changes that are occurring in the national and international landscape in order to stay agile and relevant.”

DiMascio said attendees would also hear from key industry figures including organisers and associations to provide an overview of current developments and recent impacts on trade and consumer shows.

The EEAA 2016 Conference and Awards for Excellence will be one of the official test events at the new ICC Sydney and EEAA has included tours of the venue as part of the two-day program.
