Leading fitness club chain Club Lime has achieved a national industry-first with the receipt of three prestigious International Standards.

The Club Group Pty Limited, Club Lime’s parent company, this month underwent the rigorous certification process, receiving a perfect score in their compliance audit, setting a new benchmark for Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems across the Australian fitness and recreation industry.

Gaining certification in these standards is a profound achievement for The Club Group as they are now the only fitness club provider in Australia to have achieved compliance in all three recognised standards.

The Club Group received the certification following an extensive, multi-day audit accredited through JAS-ANZ, awarding the Group with endorsement in the following:

• ISO 9001:2008 - Quality Management Standard
• AS/NZS 4801:2001 - Health & Safety Management Standard
• ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Management Standard

The ISO 9001:2008 standard represents an international consensus on good management practices with the aim of ensuring that an organisation can consistently deliver quality services that meet their member’s requirements.

Commenting on this significant achievement, The Club Group Managing Director Harry Konstantinou (pictured) explains “achieving ISO 9001:2008 represents another major milestone for our organisation and demonstrates our complete commitment to quality.

“As part of the ISO 9001 audit, we were also awarded both ISO14001 accreditation for Environmental Management, and AS/NZS 4801:2001 accreditation for Occupational Health and Safety Systems. The recognition these awards have given to our integrated management systems means our employees, our contractors and most importantly our members can continue to place their trust in The Club Group to deliver consistent excellence in all our quality services and solutions. “
