Celebrating Santa’s Highest Grotto from the heights of the Sydney Tower Eye’s Skywalk

December 15, 2013

The Sydney Tower Eye has rejoiced in the magic of Christmas with the launch of Santa's Highest Grotto, celebrating the opening with nine Santas walking on the Sydney Skywalk, 268 metres above street level.

The opening of Santa's Highest Grotto has seen the Observation Deck at the Sydney Tower Eye transformed into an enchanted wonderland complete with a fireplace, festive music and a Christmas tree. Children, families and friends alike can enjoy the wonderful magic of Christmas and share their Christmas wish list with the man in red. Visiting children also receive free gifts from Santa's bag of toys and have the opportunity to take their photo with Santa home for free.

Announcing the attraction, Sydney Tower Eye General Manager Ian Wood explained "we are thrilled to have the highest Santa at the Sydney Tower Eye this year. It is a great way for families and friends to take part in the Christmas festivities. Whether it's a family tradition, a gift or just for fun, Santa's Highest Grotto has something for everyone."

Santa is currently greeting children and adults alike from the Observation Deck at the Sydney Tower Eye from 4pm till 7pm weekdays, and 12pm till 6pm on weekends. From 21st December, Santa will be greeting guests from 10am right through to 6pm.
