A world-first, 'walk the crocodile' allows guests to take David, the park’s largest freshwater crocodile, on a walk around the Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome, and The Pullman Reef Hotel Casino complex.
Guests can choose to walk the crocodile for either 15 minutes or 30 minutes, and will be accompanied by a wildlife keeper to ensure the crocodile remains well-behaved.
A premium 'walk the crocodile' package will also be available, allowing guests to take David up to their hotel room within The Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, as well as enjoy ‘croctails’ by the pool.
Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome Manager Michael Bowley said 'walk the crocodile' was a unique experience for guests looking for an extra thrill.
Bowley stated "we often have guests asking if they can get closer to our crocodiles, to see them up close, so this is the perfect opportunity.
“We have spent a lot of time with David the crocodile to ensure he’s up to the task and will behave when walking on a harness and lead.”
