Ninja Parc’s two franchised indoor obstacle course centres have reported a rise in visitation while having eight new locations set to open.

The Belgravia Group franchise business’ sites in Newcastle and Townsville have seen a 72% rise in visitations from January 2020 to January 2021, while their newly opened facility in the Melbourne suburb of Bayswater welcomed saw more then 500 visitors through the door on its opening weekend in late January.

Overall, the three sites recorded a collective 10,000 casual visitors in January.

Birthday parties are also driving further attendance growth, with a 24.36% increase across all three centres in March compared to February.

Birthday parties were also up by 72% in Townsville and Newcastle compared to the previous year.

Welcoming the growth, Ninja Parc founder, John Pirlo explained "since the launch of our first centre in 2018 we’ve had so much interest from kids and families who are love accessing our obstacle course through play passes, birthday parties and school holiday programs, to name a few.

“The idea behind Ninja Parc is to provide a fun way for members of the community to be active and we’ve certainly achieved that in our current locations.

“Our locations have seen a significant increase in visitations for both parties and casual play in the last 12 months seeing more than 10000 casual visitors alone in January 2021”

Looking back on 2020, Pirlo adds “thankfully, because we allow people to drop in anytime during opening hours, we were able to be back to capacity within two weeks, post the lockdowns.

“Our member base in existing locations has also grown since … and, we’ve received over 140 enquiries for birthday parties and corporate events.

“There’s also new franchisees that are now joining Ninja Parc; helping us share our mission to even more communities within Australia.”

Explaining the franchise proposition, Pirlo went on to say “Ninja Parc strives to inspire a world of movement for kids, teens and families and it has proven to be an attractive option for people of all ages.

“From kids who need to burn off some energy, to adults who want a fun way to get active either with the family, or on their own.”
