The BIG4 Holiday Parks’ recently held annual awards held at Movie World on the Gold Coast, recognised exceptional achievements at both individual and park levels with a total of 13 awards presented, recognising excellence nationally.

Among the award winners BIG4 Caloundra Waterfront is noted for securing four wins - an impressive achievement in such a highly competitive landscape (the team pictured above).

The Gala took place following a three-day conference, Delivering Excellence Together: THE BIG4 Way, where members came together to celebrate the 45th anniversary of BIG4 Holiday Parks, and honour the brand's community, heritage, and multi-generational talent.

BIG4 Holiday Parks Chief Executive Sean Jenner said the awards serve as a testament to the exceptional dedication and hard work of the owners, managers, and teams across the BIG4 network.  

Jenner enthused "we were thrilled to celebrate our achievements and bring together remarkable teams and individuals from every corner of the country. Recognising their hard work under one roof is something we deeply value.

"Amidst a group of well-deserving winners, a special mention goes to BIG4 Caloundra Waterfront for securing four wins, which is an impressive achievement in such a highly competitive landscape."

“We were also honoured to induct Theo Whitmont, who sadly passed away earlier this year as the 2024 Life Member. The award was accepted on his behalf by his father and fellow Life Member Norton Whitmont.  

“In recognition of Theo’s commitment to BIG4 and dedication to fostering young talent within the industry, we introduced the Theo Whitmont BIG4 Future Leader Award, which was proudly presented to Lisa Tagidrau from BIG4 Tweed Billabong Holiday Park.

"It was fantastic to celebrate our BIG4 parks and staff who have made an outstanding impact over the past year, especially as we lead up to almost 50 years of operating. These awards celebrate the dedication of the BIG4 network and serve as a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributes to making our parks truly special."
