Best Union’s OmniTicket ticketing solution wins top international ticketing award
Global electronic ticketing and access control systems business Best Union is celebrating having won the ‘Smart & Connected Award’ with its OmniTicket’s Package Ticketing Solution for Theme Parks at the Ticketing Technology Awards 2017 held in the Irish capital of Dublin earlier this month.
In a private ceremony at the city’s Croke Park stadium, the Company’s Build-ATicket option was one of eight finalists and impressed the judging panel who commented that connecting the data trails is a smart move for theme parks, where a big challenge is attracting repeat customers.
OmniTicket's Package Ticketing Solution offers theme parks the option to Build-A-Ticket through a guided sales process allowing staff and guests to easily develop a ticket product that includes multiple entitlements or create a comprehensive visit itinerary customised to a guest’s exact requirements.
This advanced package delivered the brief for the Smart & Connected Award which required companies to bridge the data and departmental silos, using smart tools and digital connectivity to wow their customers.
Ticketing Technology Forum founder Ian Nuttall stated “congratulations to everyone who reached the podium.
“Winners included our industry’s leaders, achievers and stand-out innovators, who should all be very proud of their achievement.”
Welcoming the award, Best Union Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Commenting Melinda Arvin, stated “this is a great moment for Best Union and our whole team are celebrating.
“We are very proud of our new Package Ticketing Solution and I would personally like to thank each and every one of our clients and suppliers who voted for us - this feels special.”
Established in 1999, and with offices in France, Italy, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the USA, Best Union Company S.p.A. is one of the main players in the design, production, sale and management of electronic ticketing and access control systems and the organisation of hospitality and security services for public events, cultural and sport events, trade shows and theme and amusement parks.
Best Union is among the few global companies who are able to offer integrated hard and software systems and the services required to stage sports events, cultural initiatives, trade fairs, shows of various kinds and to run entertainment and theme parks.
In October last year, the Italian-based company acquired a 100% stake in the capital of leading ticketing and CRM solutions provider Enta Australasia Pty Ltd with the aim of expanding its presence in Australian and the international markets.
