ASSA takes swim school safety message to Western Australia
The Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) held a highly successful inaugural professional development event in Western Australia last weekend - the SwimSchools WEST PDer.
Over 30 Swim School Coordinators attended the Management stream, with over 70 filling the lecture room at Beatty Park Leisure Centre for the Teaching stream.
ASSA Chief Executive Ross Gage stated “the mix of new speakers and highly interactive panel sessions proved a winning formula.
Gage also congratulated ASSA staffer Emily McNeill on her first ‘solo’ presentation; the topic relating to staffing matter pertaining to Millennials.
Gage, McNeill and key ASSA Inclusion presenter, Tracey Ayton, were also special guests at the Swim Schools Coordinators Association of Western Australia’s 20th Anniversary Dinner during the visit.
