Anytime Fitness runs largest ever member engagement program and New Year acquisition campaign

Anytime Fitness, Australia’s largest gym chain, has launched its largest ever member engagement program and New Year acquisition campaign - promoting exclusive member access to its new Anytime Workouts app.

Built using PumpOne technology (commonly known as Fitness Builder in Australia), Anytime Workouts (powered by Anytime Health) features over 1,100 workouts and 2,700 exercises.

Having been recently acquired by Anytime Fitness Australia’s master franchisor in the USA, PumpOne is the market leader in affordable, portable, personal training.

Anytime Fitness Australia is offering the app to each of its clubs at no additional cost - a unique offering across the fitness industry and the brand’s largest member engagement program to date.

Anytime Workouts has been launched collaboratively as part of the brand’s New Year acquisition campaign ‘F*CK UNFIT’ which creates a motion to inspire a fitter Australia.

With Anytime Workouts every single member now has the capability to train more successfully on their own, with the ability to either select a plan, select a premade workout, or create their own workout, along with tools to track their progress. The mobile app gives the user 1,100 workouts and over 2,700 exercises to utilise anytime, anywhere, whether that’s in the gym, at home or on the go.

The campaign, created in collaboration with strategic creative agency, Bloom, was designed to spark attention and challenge the fundamental health problem of being unfit, while Anytime Workouts provides the campaign with integrity and credibility for the messaging.

The emotive marketing campaign leads with a brave headline, challenging Australia to become fitter and healthier with the support of Anytime Fitness and the Anytime Workouts app. Anytime Fitness is giving its members the tool to take the nagging, pessimistic internal dialogues we all have about getting fit and flip them into positives by saying “F*?# UNFIT!”

Anytime Fitness Chief Executive Arthur McColl stated “this is our biggest and bravest campaign to date, both in terms of member engagement and acquisition.
