ACHPER announces 27th International Conference
The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) has announced details of its 27th International Conference.
With the theme 'Moving Learning & Achieving', the event will be held from 18th to 20th April at Prince Alfred College in Adelaide.
Recent conference developments include:
• Key note speakers have been finalised. They include Jean Blaydes Madigan (USA), Dr Tim Hopper (Canada), Dr Frances Cleland (USA), Professor Donna Cross (Australia) and Professor Emeritus Alan Reid (Australia).
• The due date for the submissions for academic paper, presentations, workshops and poster abstracts has been extended. Submissions will be accepted until Friday, 12th November 2010.
• Online registration will be available shortly.
The program will feature a range of formats including customary practical and theory sessions, keynote speakers, poster presentations, interactive grass roots presentations, round-table discussions and 15 minute presentations.
The event will also provide the opportunity to meet and network with a variety of Health, Physical Education and Recreation professionals from across Australia and internationally.
