AALARA to stage 2016 conference at Luna Park Sydney

AALARA to stage 2016 conference at Luna Park Sydney
January 21, 2016

For the first time in 15 years, the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) will be staging its annual conference in Sydney.

To be held at Luna Park Sydney from 23rd to 26th May, the annual AALARA conference presents a unique opportunity to connect with and learn from leading amusement, leisure and recreation industry professionals from all over Australia.

The conference will present an energising and informative program of speakers, and facilitating networking and business opportunities for sponsors through an interactive and dynamic program of social events.

A series of site tours will also bring delegates opportunities to see ‘behind the scenes’ at Sydney’s attractions – a product much changed since the Conference was last held in Sydney (in conjunction with the Aquatic and Recreation Institute and Venue Management Association) in 2001.

Inviting delegates to the conference, AALARA President Tim Newman-Morris stated “it is my great pleasure, on behalf of the Board of Directors of AALARA, to invite you to attend the 2016 AALARA Conference.

"AALARA’s aim is to train and educate its members to achieve standards of excellent and professionalism in business ethics, operations and practices – the 2016 AALARA Conference being the perfect stage for this delivery.

“AALARA facilitates the exchange of information among members and stimulates their cooperation on promoting and safeguarding the interests of its members – to help members network, learn and grow from each other’s knowledge.

“Under the theme ‘Inspire, Improve, Ignite’, AALARA Conference 2016 will showcase an energising and informative program of local and international speakers to help make 2016 your best year in business yet.

“The location of Luna Park Sydney is certainly spectacular (so) if you’ve never been to an AALARA Conference, or haven’t been for a year or two, I implore you to join us in May for what promises to be an amazing event.”

Sponsorship packages for AALARA 2016 are available now with delegate registration information to be released in the coming days.
